We believe that there is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving, and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent – one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 3:16; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 5:7)
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and is God’s Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected, and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today in the presence of God the Father and in His people. (Colossians 2:9; Romans 1:4; Luke 24:1-7)
We believe that Jesus Christ shed His blood for the forgiveness of sins and to break the power of sin in the believer's life. (Romans 3:25; 1 John 3:5-10; Ephesians 2:1-10)
We believe the Bible is the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21; John 10:35).
We believe we are saved and justified by faith alone (Romans 5:1).
We believe in sanctification, which delivers us from the power and dominion of sin (Acts 26:18; 1 John 1:9). It is followed by life-long growth in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as we continually draw closer to God and become more like Jesus. (2 Corinthians 4:16; 2 Peter 3:18).
We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, which is a gift from God promised by Jesus Christ to all believers. (Luke 11:13; 24:49. ; Acts 1:5; 2:4, 8-17; 10:44-46; 19:6; John 14:16).
We believe in the manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. He ministers to His people through a variety of spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church and to demonstrate and confirm the gospel. The various gifts are listed in the Bible, and all believers are commanded to earnestly desire the manifestation of the gifts in their lives. The gifts always operate in harmony with the scriptures and should never be used in violation of Biblical parameters. All things should be done decently and in order. (Hebrews 2:4, Romans 12:4-8, Ephesians 4:11-16, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31, 14:1-40, 1 Peter 4:10-11)
We believe healing is available through what Jesus accomplished in his death on the cross (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17; Mark 16:15-18; James 5:14-16; Exodus 15:26).
We believe Jesus Christ will return again to call His Bride- His church- to Himself (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Titus 2:13; 2 Peter 3:1-4; Matthew 24:29-44), and we love and wait for His appearing (2 Timothy 4:8) We believe in a literal heaven and hell. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.
We believe “the Church”, the ekklesia, those called out of the world to serve and govern under Christ’s Lordship, is the body of Christ and consists of all who have accepted God's offer of redemption through the sacrificial death of His son Jesus Christ. We practice the two ordinances Jesus gave the church: water baptism by immersion after repentance of sin and receiving His gift of salvation, and communion as a remembrance of His suffering and death for our salvation.
We believe it is the responsibility of all believers to carry out the ministry of Jesus Christ and advance His Kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling the nations, making the Father and Son known, baptizing and teaching all to love and obey God, and in doing so, fulfill the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15-20; Acts 1:8; Matthew 10:7-8)
